Glass Garden Ecosystems
Terrariums offer green space that liven up homes for both urban dwellers and country folk alike. They create an earthly ambiance that provoke a sense of calmness when placed in the center of a room.
If you’re looking for a unique gift for a loved one you’ve come to the right place. Don’t pay outrageous prices for floral arrangements that will wilt in a week. Our glass gardens are a beautiful way to express your love, thoughts and prayers. Every terrarium is custom designed by our founder and nature lover, TT Gray. She draws inspiration from the Laurel Highlands’ breathtaking landscape. Each handmade design gives you a glimpse into a whimsical story where sustainable local plants and wild foraged flora & fungi take center stage.

Did you know?
The very first terrarium was designed in 1842 by Nathaniel Bagshaw Ward, a botanist. Nathaniel was fascinated about insect behavior and had incidentally left one of the jars used for observing insect behavior unattended. Unexpected by Nathaniel, a fern spore within the glass walls of the enclosed jar germinated and grew into a fern – and thus the first terrarium was created.
Note: News of the unintended incident spread like wildfire and the very first few terrariums were named as ‘Wardian cases‘. In memory of Nathaniel Bagsaw Ward.
